Why you can trust it

Evidence you can check — because we checked it first.

The reason a clinician can trust what Pepacorn shows is the discipline behind it. Here’s exactly how the data is built.

Graded, not asserted.

Every agent-condition pairing carries a grade — strong (human RCT/guideline), emerging (early human trials/strong mechanism), preclinical (animal/in-vitro), or none. We never inflate; when evidence is thin, the grade says so.

Every citation is real.

Each claim links to a genuine PubMed record — PMID, DOI, and the actual finding. Claims went through a two-stage pass: research against PubMed, then an independent adversarial audit that re-checked each citation and dropped or downgraded anything unsupported.

Three tiers, clearly labeled.

Published evidence, patient-community signal, and peer-clinician outcomes are always distinct and never blurred. Community signal is labeled as such and never presented as proof.

Current.

Compounding / legal status tracks the changing 503A landscape and is treated as live data, not a static label.
